Athar Medical Center is the first center in Bahrain to introduce Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Mindfulness Skills: Being aware of and living in the present moment without being judgmental.
Distress Tolerance Skills: Getting through a crisis situation without making the situation worse and reducing intense unwanted emotions.
Emotion Regulation Skills: Understanding and improving or decreasing unwanted emotions.
Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills: Maintaining and improving relationships, communication skills, and self-respect.
